Fruit & Nut Oat Bread (recipe makes approx 10 slices).
This is a firm favourite!! The oats provide a slow release of energy. The nuts, seeds, eggs and yoghurt are sources of protein which supports growth and repair in the body.
Nuts and seeds are a great source of healthy fats (omega-3 and omega-6) which are important for cardiovascular health, brain function, immune function and hormone production.
Did you know? omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids cannot be made by the body so they need to obtained from our diet. They can also be found in oily fish, flaxseed and eggs.
This bread is perfect for breakfast, lunchboxes, and as a post exercise snack!!
