What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to improve whole body muscle strength, mobility, posture, flexibility and overall wellness with particular emphasis on core strength. Regular Pilates can improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.

Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness abilities. Generally you will need a mat and a chair to perform some of these exercises. 

What is the difference between Pilates and Yoga? Pilates exercises are performed in a flow of movement without the static poses associated with yoga.
