We get asked this question all the time from participants, especially in recent weeks with the numbers of stomach bugs, colds & flus rising.
We ask people to use the ‘Neck Check’ to decide whether or not to exercise.
If your symptoms are BELOW THE NECK then you should rest until these symptoms ease. Symptoms include:
Coughing, wheezing or shortness of breath
Swollen lymph glands
Diarrhoea, vomitting or stomach pain
If your symptoms are ABOVE THE NECK then it may be OK to exercise, but you need to do the “warm up test” (please see image below). Symptoms include:
