Education Workshops and Courses

We deliver a range of health, weight loss, fitness and sporting performance workshops and courses. We hold these workshops on site in our Portarlington and Portlaoise studios, and we also travel to our clients locations. In addition to delivering the workshops and courses we also provide detailed take home resources to all participants including videos where appropriate. These workshops and courses include:

  • Sports nutrition for performance
  • Training for performance
  • Periodization of the training year & peaking for competition
  • Recovery
  • Injury prevention
  • The athlete lifestyle
  • Endurance training for specific events e.g. 5km, 10km, ½ marathon, marathon, adventure racing, ultra-distance, all distance cycle events, triathlon, multiday endurance events
  • Train the trainer

Practical Workshops and Courses

We also deliver a range of practical workshops and courses for athletes and coaches. These take place on site in True Fitness and we also travel to our clients locations. The workshops and courses are supported with take home material including videos where appropriate. These include:

    • Fitness testing, interpretation of fitness testing results and application to training programme design
    • Sport specific functional training
    • Sport specific flexibility training
    • Speed and agility training for team sports
    • Sport specific strength and power training

Our workshops range from 1 hour in duration to half day and fully day. Our courses range from 1 full day to 6 weeks in duration. Each workshop and course is designed specifically for each of our clients. Please contact us to discuss the best option for your needs and a quote for same.
