Our current group of True Transformers kick started their new lifestyle on Tuesday evening 14th March. We have 20 people in this group of all ages and fitness abilities and are very excited to work with them over the next 6 weeks. Tonight was the start of their preparation for their fun 5km on 22nd April. Many individuals in our group told us they were nervous about the 5km event and their ability to complete it, but on their very first night the walkers covered 2.2km, the joggers covered 3.5km and the runners covered 5km.
Our True Transformation group have just embarked on 6 weeks of detailed nutrition plans, 5km training sessions, TRX training sessions, health education workshops, private weigh ins, and pre / post blood tests and fitness tests. They will be monitored and supported by our team of Sports Scientists throughout the 6 week programme, and we will assist them in setting medium and long term goals for themselves after the programme finishes. Our group won’t know themselves in 6 weeks time!
We are holding another of our FREE 5km fun walk / run events on Saturday 22nd April at 10am from our True Fitness studio in Portarlington. We will have lots of healthy treats available for all participants so why not join us and bring the family! We would love to see you there 🙂
