Portarlington Community Exercise Classes – suitable for all ages and abilities.

Community exercise classes every Monday & Wednesday 7-8pm in Portarlington GAA centre  Our instructors Olivia and Anne are qualified to work with people of all ages and exercise abilities. On Monday Olivia teaches an aerobic exercise class and on Wednesday Anne teaches a circuit class. Flexibility i.e. stretching is an important section of these classes as it helps our muscles to relax, reduce stiffness and improve joint mobility. This is important as it allows us to achieve key functional movements such as walking up stairs and bending over to pick something up. Flexibility is also very relaxing and new research is starting to suggest that doing regular stretching exercises can also help reduce fatigue (feeling of tiredness and lack of energy) and improve mental health👍

We provide mats so all you need to bring is yourself and a bottle of water 😁

▪️€45 per person in a couple monthly membership (a couple can be two friends, family members etc.) (8 classes – this works out at just €5.60 per class!)
▪️€50 monthly membership (8 classes – this works out at just €6.20 per class)
